Van & Smith Company, Inc. is the oldest medium voltage representative agency in the State of Florida, serving customers since 1959. We specialize in the sales of medium voltage equipment, components, accessories, cable tray systems and industrial lighting.

Our team supports engineers, contractors and utility providers across peninsular Florida, from the Apalachicola River and Tallahassee east and south to the Florida Keys.

In addition to product supply, we provide specification support, budgetary pricing and technical guidance for electrical projects, along with training for medium voltage terminations and splicing.

Shannon began her career with a local electrical manufacturer’s rep in 1995. In 2003, she transitioned to inside sales with a local electrical distributor. Shannon joined the Van & Smith company in 2008, and has worked as inside sales supporting the outside sales reps as well as office management.
